Omnipotence

Omnipotence isn't something I really thought about until after I became an Atheist but it is something that led me to be a Strong-Atheist. Omnipotence is being all powerful, which is a claim people make about their gods. Now the paradox can arise when you ask what would happen if god made something so large he couldn't move it? Could god do that? If not he is not Omnipotent, if he can does that mean he loses his all powerful status? I would like to hear a christian take on this.
